The SJV Art and Environment Committee
The SJV Art and Environment Committee oversees the seasonal environment for our church.
Our core group includes women and men and we ask for volunteers during our peak times.
Our goal is to give the people of our parish a feeling of welcome and a sense of the season which we are celebrating at the time; such as Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter.
Our tasks are varied from setting up and coordinating displays, flower arrangements, repotting and watering flowers and many other activities to make the church a beautiful place to worship. We do work around many other activities that take place in our church to get our work done, and we have to be flexible with our time to complete tasks.
Our monthly meeting is usually on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. We all truly enjoy the time we spend serving God and the Parish of St. John Vianney.
