The Sanctity and sacredness of Christian marriage and family

As part of the St. John Vianney parish community, we recognize and uphold the sanctity and sacredness of Christian marriage and family.

This recognition calls us to encourage, support, and reinforce marriage and family. We will do this through social, liturgical, enrichment, educational and support activities and events.

The Marriage and Family Life Committee consists of these sub committees:

We Believe in Marriage

The We Believe in Marriage evening is in February (usually the Saturday following St. Valentines Day). The evening begins with 4pm mass. Married couples have the opportunity to renew their vows. The evening also includes dinner, dancing, and a guest speaker or live entertainment.

Education

The Education Sub-Committee is responsible for planning and facilitating educational experiences on a yearly basis. In order for the committee to meet the needs of our parishioners, as well as neighboring parishes, we have sponsored such well known speakers as Dr. Ray Guarendi, Regina Brett, and Bishop Roger Gries.
