Saint John Vianney Rosary Program began on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 16, 2023. All parishioners are welcome to pray the rosary then each week parishioners are requested to either email Jim Hickey or drop a Rosary Tally Sheet (found on the shelf in the Gathering Space) with the number of Rosaries they prayed the previous week. Include rosaries prayed privately or in a group.
Periodic tallies will be printed in the parish bulletin. Annual totals will also be printed. Everyone in the parish is welcome to participate.
There are many reasons for praying the Rosary: reparation for sin, world peace, the end of abortion, souls in purgatory, vocations, lukewarm or fallen away Catholics, marriages, and those in most need of God’s mercy. Perhaps the best reason for praying the Rosary as our Blessed Mother has requested, is that she will bring us closer to Jesus and in the process we will become more Christ like.
