There are many opportunities to help: core planning, set-up and clean-up, work one of the many attractions, help with food preparation and serve up food orders, provide fresh baked goods for the Bakery Booth and so much more. The festival is a wonderful opportunity to bring the greater community together, to see old friends and meet new friends. If you would like volunteer to help in any capacity contact Maureen Kraizel
The Festival has been an important part of the life of our parish community for the last 30 plus years. It takes many hands to set up, work the attractions and take down the Festival and to make it the great success that it is. Many of the people doing it have been doing it for all or part of those 30 years.
Festival Setup & Tear down
The Festival Night Crew helps with some of the setup & tear down tasks in the evening. We have a great time meeting new friends, learning Festival tasks and having fun. We are looking to expand our number of workers this year. The days and hours are Monday thru Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30pm, depending on weather and your availability. Set up will begin 3 weeks before the Festival and take down will last about 3 days after the Festival. The tasks will be many and varied and there will be something available for all skill levels!
Dates and times for setup are subject to change due to weather conditions & work assignments for the day. Contact Maureen Kraizel if you would like to join a crew. You do not have to work the entire shift but any help is appreciated. Many hands make light the work. Volunteers are welcome to set up the Festival beginning TBD.
Please give some thought to being a part of this very worthwhile parish endeavor! You, too, will enjoy meeting fellow parishioners and doing something that will make the Summer Festival a huge success. Thank you!
Volunteers are welcome to take down the Festival beginning Tuesday after the festival at 9:00 am. Just come to the parish and help if you are available.
