“For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness.

 Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.”  –  Romans 12:4-12

We invite you to read about the ministries and committees that serve our parish and learn about some of the many services they perform and the activities they plan to support the parish. Please pray for those that have answered God’s call to ministry. Events they organize often need additional helping hands or just join in and participate in events they plan to enrich our community.

What gifts has God blessed you with? Prayerfully consider how you might help support the parish and spread the good news of God’s love to our parish community and to our neighbors. Consider volunteering to help with one of many events like our parish festival, which takes hundreds of people to put on this annual event. Minister to others by helping with holiday meals to the homebound or join a renewal team. Minister to our youth as a PSR teacher or classroom aid, share your faith as a Confirmation group leader or a CYO coach. Where may our Lord be guiding you?
