Women’s Faith Sharing Group

For our women’s study we are reading the new book, Our Friend Faustina: Life Lessons in Divine Mercy.  It is edited by Michele Faehnle and Emily Jaminet, who are the authors of The Friendship Project and Divine Mercy for Moms.  They were the guest speakers at our 2018 Women’s Advent Brunch.  It is a collection of essays by 11 modern women, all joined by their common friendship with one extraordinary person, St. Faustina.  Sharing tales of ordinary and extraordinary graces with wit and laughter, these faith filled women explain how St. Faustina has loved them, mentored them, and inspired them to live with mercy toward all. We’ll meet on the following Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the Social Center: January 8, February 5, March 4, and April 1.

6:00 – 9:00 pm in the Fr Kline Social Center

Treat yourself to a special evening by joining us for the Friendship by Candlelight event at St John Vianney Parish. First, we will enjoy a light dinner and fellowship with other women of faith. Then, in a candlelit room, you’ll be inspired as Allison Gingras gives a talk titled “A Life Intertwined with My Friend Faustina.” We hope you will give your self this gift of an evening of peace, reflection, and friendship!!!

Our special guest speaker will be Allison Gingras from Massachusetts. She has created the Stay Connected Journals for Catholic Women. Her podcast, A Seeking Heart, is distributed through BreadboxMedia.com. She is the founder of the blog ReconciledToYou.com as well as a Catholic author and retreat leader. Allison works for WINE: Women in the New Evangelization and contributes to CatholicMom.com. She is also one of the 11 women who contributed to Our Friend Faustina: Life Lessons in Divine Mercy. Part of Allison’s talk will be about St. Faustina and Divine Mercy, which is perfect as our event is being held on Divine Mercy weekend!  All women are invited to attend this special evening!!
