Festival Committee

The Parish Summer Festival is the major fund raiser for the parish: it is held on the second weekend of July. It is a major undertaking of the parish and involves hundreds of volunteers.

There are many opportunities to help: core planning, set-up and clean-up, including food preparation and all games. The festival is a wonderful opportunity to bring the greater community together, to see old friends and meet new friends. Click here to volunteer and scroll down to read more.

The Festival has been an important part of the life of our parish community for the last 30 plus years.  It takes many hands to set up and take down the Festival and to make it the great success that it is. Many of the people doing it have been doing it for all or part of those 30 years. We formed a Festival Night Crew to help with some of these tasks in the evening. We have a great time meeting new friends, learning Festival tasks and having fun.  We are looking to expand our number of workers this year.  The days and hours are Monday thru Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30pm, depending on weather and your availability.   Set up will begin 3 weeks before the Festival and take down will last about 3 days after the Festival. The tasks will be many and varied and there will be something available for all skill levels!  Please give some thought to being a part of this very worthwhile parish endeavor! You, too, will enjoy meeting fellow parishioners and doing something that will make the Summer Festival a huge success. Please call Mary Kovach at (440) 255-0600. Thank you!
